"Scarpinocc". The name stems from the word"shoe"(scarpa) because the odd shape apparently resembles old-fashioned wooden shoes from parre, a town in the province of Bergamo, north of Milan. Usually filled with some sort of cheese mixture. But I prefer the meat-filled tortellini Bolognese, the comfort food in the city, found in every home in Bologna.
